Project Overview

The purpose of this project is to develop a functional mobile application aimed at National Insurance clients. The main goal is to leverage technology to add value and enhance the customer experience. This mobile application, named the "Nacional Seguros App", will focus on process automation, particularly in self-service functionalities, and serve as a marketing tool for maintaining continuous contact with clients.

The previous version of the app suffered from poor information architecture and did not adhere to Nacional Seguros Patrimoniales y Fianzas S.A.'s brand style guide.

Design Process

The design process, followed a systematic approach comprising four key stages: Discovery, Information Architecture, Design, and Development. These stages form the backbone of our methodology, guiding us from understanding project objectives and user needs to crafting fully functional, user-centric solutions:

Discovery

Understanding the strategic objective of the app. The purpose was to create a functional mobile application oriented towards National Insurance clients, enabling self-management processes and serving as a marketing tool for continuous client engagement.

Design

Development

Information Architecture

Defining how user accounts would be linked to the "Mi Seguro" web portal, including processes for account creation, password management, and data updates. The architecture ensured smooth interaction between the app and the backend systems of National Insurance.

Designing the user interface and experience, such as login screens, account creation processes, and profile management. The design ensured seamless navigation and accessibility for users across different functionalities of the app.

This included implementing features like account authentication, password management, data updates, and account linking with the web portal. Development ensured that the app functioned seamlessly, allowing users to access their insurance accounts and manage their information effectively.
